House

Hugh Laurie made an interesting comment about the show’s popularity in Spain.  He said:

“My TV show HOUSE is very, very, very big in Spain. The Spaniards are nutty about it. There were gaggles of shouting fans. That’s why I had a bodyguard. HOUSE hasn’t made much on an impression on British television so I am able to move about in my own country unhindered.”

If house was a flop in the US and huge over there, I’d be curious to know why.  However, since House is quite popular over here as well, the answer is pretty simple — it’s a great show.

I read this blog by this girl who is an aspiring TV writer. She recently revealed the beginning script/character descriptions of some TV shows. She happened to have one regarding “House”. Here it is:
